got home from uni early and was a nice sunny day, so got to work, stripped the back o/s suspension and got the coilover on:

(obv not bolted in)

put my black alloys on until i can get some low profile tyres changed onto the cupra rims or a set of deep alloys to come my way

then got to the 2nd one, removed the b**tarding long bolt that kept hitting off the backbox, so with uber strength of bending the backbox back and my dad eventually coming out to give the bolt a hammering, then this...

Harsh mate. The weather is meant to be like this all week long as well so you better put on your waterproof coat and finish her off before it gets dark ;)

I feel kinda guilty knowing I've got a workshop at my disposal..

Maybe get one of those cheap £20 garden awnings and set it up on the drive?
I know it won't be perfect but I'm sure it'll help!

its too dark now, will be tomorrow by the time i finish the backs at least, i dont mind the car being low at the back, just ideally need to get her finished asap.

new rubber top mounts have gone on the coilovers, f**K getting powerflex ones, knock my teeth out

keeping the back at 60/65mm and the front will need to be raised to about 60 aswell!

got the rears done (still need to settle) and it started to rain again.
took it a lap round my circle and had a wee knocking noise but im sure thats just my suspension getting into place etc..

im skipping uni tomorrow to cut the balancing weight off and hopefully get the fronts done, but with it being scotland....only weather will tell
