fault codes 17965 and 1557

got my car on vagcom and the codes p17965 and 1557 came up.

pressure control positive

i have changed maf, n75, temp sensor. what elso could it be

i have order allards egr powerpipe, which will go on hopefully tomorrow.

the car goes into limp mode, in either 4th or 5th gear. just before loss of power it hesitates.

the actuator linkage is moving, when pushed by a bar, it doesnt move easily by hand, should it move frely up and down or just down.
any ideas................

theirs a pressure sensor in the top of the intercooler check that

is that the map sensor, held in with 2 screws. any simple way to test or remove it. the screws have rusted and will be difficult to remove

put on allards power pipe (replaces egr) but still have limp mode


btw, would vag com not bring up code is map was faulty

got a new map (thrust) sensor, from seat, only £32. only to discover it was the wrong one.

will change it and see if problem is cured. used 10k boost and car is abit smoother.

put on replacement map sensor. still limp mode. any other suggestions

discovered the wastegate actuator rod or the turbo vanes are sticking.

when i try to move the rod up and down, it is a struggle.
is it an easy job to disconnect the rod from turbo. if its turbo, it needs a clean, but if it is the rod, can i buy that part separately.
