there was a stone-chip on the roof which took some paint off, it was an inch wide. and i never had an issue with the abs sensor so dont know how hes managed to mess that up lol

that was what i thought!

sounds like he saw a good deal and thinks he can make a grand...it makes me a laugh as a few other ebayers have offered him other cars...doesnt sound like he is after a derv...he was interested in a clio 182..

thats exactly how i feel about my LCR lol

after having a few problems with it i wanted rid but then i fixed it and drove it and fell in love again

i couldn't bare to part with mine, not to mention the amount of money i've thrown at it now

Its the PD130, its pretty modest but i like the pull you get with the torque. Apparently if you map it stage 1 you can get 190bhp and 280lbs torque which is tasty! But then il need to look at the clutch,turbo,tyres etc more, especially at this mileage.

The current owner of the lcr got in touch after reading this thread, sounds like he has a genuine reason to sell it so all the best to him i guess

it took some time but finally I am driving the first liquid yellow Leon in Austria. I finally decided for this color after I saw the pics from your car. Thanks man!

Thanks for the great feedback, guys!

It was two month of work (nearly every evening and every Saturday).
We cleaned some parts of the car:
- side skirts
- the strips in the doors (don't know the english word for it)
- roof (antenna)
- tail gate (including wiper)
- towing hook cover at the back

Additionaly the bonnet was extended with sheet metal. In the front the honeycomb grills from the FR model were installed and the middle grill is self made out of a Cupra R grill, an FR grill and a side grill from the FR. Then everything got repainted in liquid yellow, the small parts got glossy black.
