Face Lift FR TDi

Hi all
I had a test drive in a new FR TDi today, very nice ride and much quieter than my 56 plate FR TDi, it seemed smoother through the gears and quicker. I think that a bit more could have been done with the interior plastics though, still very hard and cheap looking!

I will be test driving the new Golf GTD tomorrow, so I will be able to see if the VW version is any more refined than SEAT. I also want to know if the VW badge can warrant the extra 4k for essentially the same car.

The golf is nice but not worth the extra, having said that I drove the FR before buying the A3 then still went ahead and got the Audi, however if they would have made the FR Tdi with the DSG at the time I would not be driving the Audi, but i would probably still be looking to get shot of the DSG

Tried the Golf 6 GTD, it didn't seem as 'sporty' as the FR. It was all a bit pipe and slippers until you put your foot down, it then became quite good fun. Not enough fun to warrant the extra cash though.
