I would go from tints if it was mine, but its the customers choice ;)

Wheels are on, weather has prevented any more work though.

It drove out today under its own power :)

Still requires an ABS bleed as the brakes are very soft but at least it has some fluid in the system and the clutch works. Dash is lit up like a xmas tree, most of that is coding issues and shouldn't be too much hassle. PAS isn't working which is a little concerning. Maybe due to the ESP etc not being coded and set up, maybe due to the fact the pump was on the corner that got thumped in the accident. Need to look into this but that can be treated as a seperate issue when everything else is done and dusted.

Of course a few pictures...

Got a fair bit of work on and the weather has been awful recently up at the farm so progress has slowed a little. But im doing what I can when I can.

Practically speaking, pre-conversion I ran this one on Eibachs and Konis, and that was low enough to have to be careful at the carpark at the office (steep ramps) - it would bump the towbar sometimes.

Any lower, I would be unlikely to be able to get in. Also, the front of the car will be lower as it has the vRS bumper. Will let her settle first :)

Almost there now. Final abs bleed, adapt the airbag ecu and it should be ready for MOT and back on the road.

The pre-swap front bumper was a bumper from Devonutopia which was more of a DIY job (and it was replaced by him as part of a general overhaul of his own awesome PD100->PDxxx conversion ;))

Although the big mouth on that worked, it was less slick than the proper vRS bumper. My number plate was damaged and was bodged on the front roughly where the new one was.

Ross (and I) did not particularly like the looks of the broken number plate, and as the vRS front bumper was fitted to the estate it all had to look great, so a vinyl plate was made up.

I reckon it looks tidy there :D

We're on the home stretch now (when I say we I mean Ross ;)) to get her running & MOTed as per his previous post. Must admit, I can hardly wait to drive her - I haven't had a car since end November, was out in December where I drove a Kia in Ecuador (1.4 petrol, not great with the mountains there LOL), this one will have double the power of the original PD100, at least, and it will feel tight again as the suspension has been sorted properly, it has the Quaife I so dearly missed on the original estate, and the 6 speed box :)

Soz rambling a bit, but so excited as Ross is doing the most amazing job on her and she's looking ace too :D
