vagparts.com sell the rear aero for the Leon for £15.

The part numbers above are for the fronts, the blades (the things that wipe your window!) and the arms (the things the blades attach to!) end caps are included with the arms or should be at least.

I have these on my car but got 'em off ebay and they are genuine parts too.

I went for the Fabia rear by the way. Just like the look better than the aero.

now that i have calmed down from my over excitedness i can see the stupidity of that (my) post. As has been said, those are obviously the front wipers...DURRRR! I'm such a c**k sometimes. :p

Well, seeing as i cant get either from a dealer today, ive just flipped a coin which has decided that i'm ordering a Fabia wiper tomorrow :p

That will teach me for being so impatient.

Good choice. :)

vagparts.com seems to be playing up again anyway. Search blade, wiper, Leon, aero and nothing comes up. Did it other night when I was on too. A bit later it was alright again.

EDIT

Working now here is link just so you can have a look. Sure someone else will have a pic of there Fabia one to compare if you are still wondering. https://sslrelay.com/s74326199.onea...le=0020_Leon+rear+aero+wiper+=281T0998425=29].

So do I need the hatchback or estate cover/cap?!?

Hatchback. That number is right you have.

It is the estate arm and blade for the length and the cover for the hatchback with the slot for the jet.

The estate cover is has no slot as the jet is at the top of the rear window on the Fabia estate.

well, i originally got an estate arm and hatchback cover and they didn't fit together.

They do fit. I have one on mine. If you have estate cover then you can't use the rear washer.

The design is slightly different but they fit fine when on the car.

Then you had the wrong parts, because they do fit together if you get the part numbers in this thread.

i did. the part numbers quoted, and listed in pabs' guides, is for an estate arm and cap.

when i got them, i realised the cap didn't have the slot for the washer jets, so took them back

the parts guy then went and got me a hatchback cap, which didn't fit the estate arm.

he then ordered me the estate arm, which obviously fitted the cap.

when i get home, i'll post the original parts ordered, and the replacements.

Speaking of Fabia wipers, does anyone know of a Skoda dealer willing to post them out? Don't have one close to me now and I need another one :)

If you're still looking, try Wings of Peterborough, 01733 296969 or [email protected].

We bought the missus's (?) fabia from there. Our local stealer in Jersey wanted £11k, and thats supposed to be without VAT!! We brought it back for just under £9k in the end.

They were very helpful, would recommend to anyone.

i originally ordered:

6Y9955707A ARM 10.190
6Y0955425 WPR BLADE
6Y9955435A COVER 1.540

as stated, the cap doesn't have the slot for the washer. nor could we get the hatchback cap to fit the estate arm properly (one is curved, the other is straight), so ended up with:

6Y6955707 ARM 10.190
6Y9955435 TRIM 1.540

The blade fits both arms, so I guess they're the same length?

This is what I ordered....

6Y6955707 - Wiper Arm £9.18
6Y6955425 - Wiper Blade £3.12
6Y6955435 - Trim (Cap) £1.43

All prices need VAT.

When I gave the Skoda dude the 707A p/n for the Arm he couldn't find it on the system, so not sure where that came from?!

All parts where in stock at Dutton Forshaw Maidstone, and had them fitted in about 10mins when I got home, and fit perfectly!
