What Im thinking of doing is getting tha £60 kit depending on whether you can feel it through the seats.

best and easiest way is to remove the seat and strip it on a table

usually hog rings/spike hold trim in place

lift cloth off / fit elements in sliced pocket of the foam/ refit

not THAT big a job just time consuming as you dont wanna rip anything

lucky for me flapper got a bit of experiance with these seat covers, changed mine to the sport ones so have had them off before. Think I might give it ago soon, fancy a parrot kit this payday but next think it might be heated seats lol.

Heated seats were an option on the Ibiza, you can buy the dash insert below the climate control with the switches in.
I think Guinness posted the ETKA drawing in another thread about heated seats recently.


Thanks to whoever posted the link for the VW retrofit kit; after writing the Ibiza off I'm going back to a Passat again but this one hasn't got the heated seats. So I'm quite tempted to get one of those kits...
