I brought a blueflame cat back system, which sounded not much louder than the standard exhaust but gave a much better sound and good turbo noise. you really need somebody else to drive the car away from you or past you so you can hear the noise for yourself, you cant really hear it from inside it sounds totally different. it wasnt loud at all with just the cat back but sounded good.

i have decatted it and put the downpipe on from blueflame also and it is much louder now. doesnt sound raspy and chavy though, it is alot louder than just a cat back but its more of a loud turbo noise and not doesnt sound like a subaru, i would like it a bit quieter i think though. but it might be worth it for the performance gain

No but when fitting my turbo back system you have to buy new gaskets any way.

Part numbers are on a blueflame thread some where on here.

any way good choice ;)

I have a Milltek resonated cat-back on mine but it depends what you're looking for, I wanted a quiet (it's not a Saxo), stainless exhaust and I'm happy with what I got. It's got a nice 'burble' on tickover but inside the car it's not much louder than my standard (albeit knackered) LCR exhaust and it was a bargain at £330 fitted through JBS's group buy. If you want something a bit louder get the non-resonated version which is the same but with no middle box. As mentioned above Awesome have some good deals on at the moment.

I was also looking for somthing thats not any louder inside the car but just a nicer niose than standerd. As too the gasket, a few weeks ago the car was running slower than usual and it sounded like the exhaust was blowing. One of the 3 nuts that hold the down pipe onto the turbo was lose. After tightening the noise whent and power was back. Keeps coming lose now though so i think it needs a new gasket and new locking washers.
