ESP Problem!!!

After having the car 2 weeks i finally thought it was time to c what she could do from a standing start against my mates GSI turbo. Stuck her into first then second, all the while the ESP was flashing at me. When i backed off in third the ESP was permanently on. Left it over night but still on and i cant turn it off.
Any suggestions what i do now?

Sorry mean i cant turn it on now, light showing that its been turned off.

probably a sensor has packed up - you'll need to stick it on vag-com to work out which

that happened to me with the ABS light. I used the handbrake while ABS was working to get the car around a U-turn (was going a bit too fast and car was understeering badly) and ABS light stayed on. I tested the brakes they had no ABS. after 2 days it was fine again. try disconnecting the battery for a few mins.
