Yea tried that the EPC light turned off, then a mile down the road it came on again with the same fault. The annoying thing is that everything works, brake lights are fine and the car drives like a dream.

if u disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected then the ECU should reset, if not plug the diagnostic in an reset the ECU, when i did that it fixed teh problem. hope this helps.

so the VAG is reading no errors? ur in GIMP-et mode??? if VAG isnt flagging anything up it could be an intimate fault with a weak signal, ive had this on my engine coolant temp sensor.

cheers for the info dude, every time the boost problems occurs about 30mins later the engine light appears, as soon as the management light is switched off, its fine for another 30mins and the boost problem reappears again? is this a simlar thing to what yours did?

it depends rele ollie, if u have quite free access to a VAG when the light next comes on plug in and it 'should' (using the expression loosely) show you where the error is occuring. (thats how i did mine and found its a weak signal that occurs as a one off). ask Martyn the admin he a bit of a VAG geek!! (no offence meant martyn if ur subscribed mate!!!) he maybe able to help you further.PM him he is really helpful, hope i have helped a bit though!!! :)
