engine vibration

just wondering if any1 can throw any light my way, my w-reg leon cupra seems to be suffering from a serious vibration, it has been checked for engine management faults and all is clear and all engine mounts are fine. now as the revs increase to about 2500rpm it gets louder. now when looking underneath the noise seems to be comeing from the gearbox so i suspect the dual mass flywheel. just wondering if any1 else has had the same or similar problem or any other info before i remove the gearbox

If you suspect any noise from the gear box I would think you would check this as a minimum. Don't have any experience of this and have not heard of any Fly Wheel problems on here.
Hope it not this as they are expensive. Might be best to start to get prices of uprated clutches and single mass fly wheels

hi? i have got a noise coming from my gearbox on my mark 3 ibiza cupra ive just not long put a single mass flywheel kit on mine and changed the oil aswell but i can still here the noise could my gearbox be gone

A single mass fly wheel makes quite a bit of noise on tick over and under load, this is normal
