hi guys,

hopefully someone can point me in the right direction here.

Had a mechanic friend look at my car today (Leon 03) and he said I need to get a "Gearbox to Subframe engine mount".

Is there a proper name for this? or would someone happen to know the part number or where I could get 1?

Sorry for the n00b type question.

Cheers

weight is the enemy
I assume he's talking about what is commonly called the "dogbone" mount. it's a common part to upgrade with stiffer bushes (reduces engine movement). I'm sure you'll find plenty of threads on hear about them. It's also an easy job to replace it so ne nasty garage bill either.
