Engine cranks but won't start, P0011 error code

Hi, I'm currently stranded in a car park unsure of my options with my car.

The car cranks but won't start. Before this happened the low oil light came on and started flashing then died on me. The low oil light came on a few weeks ago so I topped up the oil. Therefore the oil isn't actually low but it might be clogged and need a change? Or could it be the spark plugs not igniting the Fuel?

Has anyone had this issue before?

Any help is much appreciated!

If you mean low oil pressure light, then that will come on if you're cranking it without it starting.
Probably no fuel due to the fuel pump/ or fuel pump relay being faulty.

Thanks for the reply, the light has gone away and it only appeared a couple minutes before dying on me. It doesn't appear at all now even when cranking.

I have just checked the oil level and the dipstick is showing above the maximum level... Despite me filling up within the min max range. The oil looks quite thick aswell. Does that change anything?

Any roadside suggestions to get my car back home would be great. Is it worth me attempting an oil change is there a possibility this would help at all?

When you say 'low oil light' do you mean an oil level warning, or the red oil pressure light ? If it's the later and you've carried on driving it without oil pressure then you've probably killed the engine. Possibly caused the timing chain to snap, or caused the valves to stick and now you have no compression.
I'm more of a 1.8t guy from the MK1, but seems these TFSI engines have a common problem with oil pressure issues.

You're right it was the red oil light, think Ive made a big fck up thinking that was the low oil instead of low pressure

It had only appeared twice in quick succession today before dying and once before that a few weeks ago. It didn't stay there the whole time.

I hate to say it, but yes, it sounds like you have buddy. Engines without oil pressure are like people without oxygen, the life expectancy is in seconds rather than minutes. The fact it was a flashing light usually means the oil pressure is not just low, but critcally low. That coupled with the P0011 code makes me think you probably need a new engine.

Got an update on the car, its suspected that the cambelt has gone. Been advised by multiple mechanics its not worth paying to inspect the damage since it will cost way too much to fix regardless. Options now to either get a new engine or new car. Probably going to try sell this for spares and get a new car.

Thanks for your help.
