Engine Cover

When I bought my K1 it never came with an engine cover and this last week I learnt of the common problem off water getting into the coil packs and she developed a terrible missfire.

Anyway, i've replaced all 4 coil packs and 4 spark plugs and I'm thinking an engine cover will help to keep the water out.

Will any 2.0 tfsi cover fit the engine? Only reason I ask is because the car has the forge twin air intake, but if there's an engine cover that'll fit better without modification I'll buy that instead.

Ideas/thoughts??

Audi TTS is the only one i know of that fits with an intake

Ah right, I take it you mean this engine cover? Looks to clear the intake at the back

EVOMS intake do a plain cover I believe Regal Autosport sell it

Oh yeah rich I know it's very steep for what it is! But definitely beats replacing coil packs and spark plugs

Water will still get through that oil cap hole

True - but the amount would be like 5% compared to 100% without a cover at all

Are the covers that important? I bought my PD FR without one.
