Engine cover

I took my engine cover off to paint it and havnt refitted it yet, but since iv had the cover off, (touch wood) the problem i have with intermittent limp mode only happens rarely and for a few miles, so its full boost most of the time
We have a few problems with Renaults at work going into limp mode a the engine cover overheats the fuel pressure regulator, has any one else come across this before. I havent put the cover back on yet as its running ok for the time being.

I'd say it might on the boost pipe for the dump valve maybe?

iv checked them and when i fittet the bailey to it i changed any weak, damaged pipes though.

Just check anything interfering it.
