Engine cooling Fans - on constantly

Has anyone else experienced their engine radiator fans on constantly?

As soon as I start the car they come on full speed. This is from cold with the air-con/heating on or off. The only time they go off is when i turn the car off.

Going to be serviced this week so will call dealer on Monday and ask them to investigate unless anyone else knows here.


That on top of the CD-player displaying "CD drive defect" and wont play or eject the cd in it .

That sounds like the climate fans have gone, very common on VAG climate.

Had 2 sets on my MK4, both warrantied though
