Hey guys,

I've been searching and cant quite put my finger on the problem...

Today I topped up the coolant because it was 2-3mm below the MIN line, when the engine was warm.

**I have a 1.9TDi Sport 130 2004 btw :)**

A few weeks ago I noticed quite abit of steam come out from the right wheel arch and been looking out ever since for more but nothing (but the weather has been better recently) so not seen anything.

The MPG of the car I have also noticed drop abit, not loads but enough.. Used to be about to get good 55-57 on long motorway journeys but now struggle to keep above 50mpg.

I have checked the oil today when topping up coolant, was fine, and didnt see any of this gunk, white mayo like stuff so hoping its nothing serious!

Any ideas?

The car is on 58,000 miles and due its cambelt and service soon, there is also a whistle (sometimes) under heavy throttle but dont think their is any power loss, or enough to notice.

Help please :(

And i think i remember reading that gets changed at the cambelt service...due soon...?

What effect would that have on the engine processes?
