very very nice, were these the ones advertised on ebay?? If so I was tempted myself. The N249 removal is a nice improvement, I've bypassed mine but not removed it as I wasn't confident in wiring up the resistors.

Yes they were ;)

I'm no electrician.......far from it....infact, electrics scare the crap out of me, you can't see if you're messing things up!

I spoke to a friend of mine who's an electrician and he said it's dead simple. Instead of linking loads of resistors together on a board, he just got me one single resistor at the right frequency. Bolted it in the bay, ran the 2 wires from the resistor to the sensor and jobs a goodun! :funk:

Let me know if you want pics ;)

pics would be great please mate :D be nice to get rid of the valve and tidy it all up. Only thing is can u still fit the engine cover with the n249 removed??

My brothers an electrician and so is my dad so I'm sure they could do it but they are more used to dealing with mechanical and machinery electrics rather than car stuff.

Ok, i'll try and sort some out.

I think so, but you'd have to bolt the brackets back on.

I hate the engine cover with a passion, so it made no odds to me!
