Looking for some info on eibach rear spacers as I think it's something thats letting the car down.

I have 7x17" alloys in a 40mm offset. Currently have a 5mm spacer on the front to clear the Brembos but no spacer on the rear. Not sure what size spacer to go for to bring the rear wheels out, does the Cupra-R have a wider track than a normal Cupra as standard??

Was thinking 15mm but don't want to go too much.

How much am I looking at for a pair of spacers + longer bolts + do you get a locking bolt??

thanks

15mm is a nice size to go on the rears.
£61.43 + VAT = £72.18 all in.
The wheel bolts we get to order at £2.00 + VAT each = £2.35 each.
The only thing we dont deal with is the locking wheel bolts.
Hope this helps you

Are you lowered?
15mm space is the minimum hub-centric which will fit over the spigot. Less than that and you will have to consider spacer width vs whats left of the spigot to engage into the wheel. The spigot takes the load, the wheel bolts clamp.
What type bolts do you have? radius seat or taper seat type?

Price from Badger5 is £79.10 inc vat, inc bolts, and longer lockers are £15+vat for set of 4 (only come as set of 4)

Alternative is stud conversion, which can make for easier wheel fitment.

Carriage is £9.50

I'm not lowered, just standard Ibiza Cupra-R height. Not sure what type of bolts I have, will check but have a feeling they are tapered.

So would you recommend the 15mm hubcentric ones??

I don't have longer bolts on the front as the spacer is only 5mm, is this ok??

no its not likely ok on front. check how much thread protrudes from the wheel with spacer on it... and you dont want to see any less than a diameters worth of length. (eg 12mm+. Usually I go by 1.5x diameter for length, but in the case of the front hub, its not that deep a drive flange, so diameter of 12mm is about the depth.)

The point re hubcentric is 15mm is the minimum you can fit on the rear. Less than this and you will be into 5mm or 8mm spacers which will leave 10mm or 7mm respectively of wheel engagement.

15mm spacers are very popular.
Remembering the rear track width of the mk3 ibiza is -35mm narrower rear than front so spacers "square" up the chassis and the handling improvment is noticable.

Quick couple of questions?

When the car is on H&R Kit do they notice rubbing on the back with the 15mm spacers fitted?

Also if i'm braking hardish the back end seems to move about a bit would the spacers help this?

Also if its 35mm difference from the front surely 20mm or even 25mm would work even better?

if on std 6x16 rims then yes 20mm spacers are supplied ans used.
wider wheel and lower and things get close or can rub under load etc.

H&R kit seems to have softer rear end so reported by some owners... so not too wide if loading or carrying peeps about as some rubbing is sometimes reported.
