ehybrid newbie, charging options?

Hi all

Just picked up my first Leon ehybrid, and I've been looking for some background information about possible charging options. I've picked up bits and bobs from various online sources including threads on here, but I wanted to go back a step and make sure that I had the full picture.

The car is used mainly for short journeys so the plan is to charge each night, making use of cheap off peak electricity. We've just switched to the Octopus Go Tariff (not the "intelligent" one). We are not planning to install a home fast charging point, but just to use 13amp socket options.

Before diving off into detail, has anyone produced, or can anyone point me to a general guide as to what is possible?

I don't have a home charger and can't easily use a domestic plug (no driveway and annoying neighbours!) I mainly use public chargers when I can. Use the electroverse app with an electroverse card from Octopus - great for tap and go. I have the podpoint app too for when I park at Tesco and want to charge there. I would find it very expensive to run on full EV power using public charging but if you utilise the cheap electricity at home you should see some savings.
The boost given by the electric motor is great fun especially in Cupra mode but a heavy right foot drains the battery quite quickly - I find using the recuperation mode and intelligent sat nav option help to ensure I always have some juice left.
The hybrid is a bit of a gimmick and the only reason I have it is that it was a cheap company car but saying that I really do like the car and I'm considering another when this one goes back.
