Anyone know where I can get hold of some of this?

According to my local and extremeley competent SEAT dealer it is on back order and doesn't have a part number - but then again I don't believe a word they say.

Halfords told me (and I quote) "you can't get a SEAT Leon in black"

Anyone any ideas? They have Audi Ebony black in hellfrauds but it says it is pearlescent. Don't think mine is pearlescent.

Got a stone chip that needs sorting. :(

Have you tried VW r Audi or Skoda?
The most popular (or at least most seen) colour of VRS is Black magic. They are bound to have some

I was in Halfrogs yesterday looking for some and the only one I could see that could be close was "Skoda - Black Magic". It also said pearlescent so I opted for Dulux from B & Q instead ;)

Might try a different Hellf*ckups. The staff in my local one are spotty, ginger and completely stupid.

Although I suspect I may start to spot a pattern.

To top off my day of dealing with incompetent idiots I might pop in Kwik Fit, any available SEAT dealer or "Motorworld" on my way home.

There is a part number for it, this is KP04100001 however the bad news is that not only is the part on back order it has been made obsolete, however there should be a replacement out for it soon in the same colour obviously

If you want to get your own made up the SEAT colour code is 041, the aerosol is available from your dealer, oh by the way if someone wants the original touch up I have an unused one here, £2.98 is what I paid for it, probably £1.50 p&p. PM me

Touch Up Stick

I got my Touch up from Seat (01293 820 110) in Horley Surrey, via the garage I bought the car but it took ages.

Halfords didn't have the foggiest.

The other option be it only a tempory one is buy one of those wax sticks and liberally apply it to the chip, should kep the rust a bay for a while, until you can get a proper touch up stick.

Cheers Jez

The new part number for Ebony Black touch-up stick is

000 098 500 L 041

and it is on back order!
