Wonder if any one on here can help me.

My brake wear light has come on over the weekend and therefore this weekend i need to replace the pads.

Been looking at various pads and i know from searching on here that the ferodo DS 2500's are quite liked by a few.

Seeing as I will probably be revo'ing my cupra in a couple of months what would you suggest..... Ferodo DS 2500's or has anyone got any views on the EBC Red Stuff brake pads......

Thanks in anticipation of some help....

from the very litle i have read about them, they are more suited to heavy cars and track use.and if my own experience with their green stuff,i'd sooner wedge soggy tea bags inside my calipers.(but thats just my opinion)
ds2500 for day to day or 3000(?) for track.

addo has red stuff on his and they seem ok but do need to be brought upto temp. Just bought the ferrodo's after a few mates locally recomending them on LCR/A3/Ibiza etc.

Found the best price from Demon Tweeks, in stock £95 including VAT and only £9 next day delivery, orderd by 11am had by 9am next day. fitting them tomorrow.l Cheaper than other quotes I had

DO NOT USE GREENSTUFF - unless you drive a light car less than 100bhp

way too soft.

DS2500's are proven (for a reason!) and if you really want EBC then RED stuff for road use, and YELLOW for track (so says EBC)

I've got a choice of stock, Redstuff or some mythical Mintex pads for mine, so count yourself lucky that you've got a decent choice. Go for the DS2500s, you won't be disappointed. :D
