Have been looking at getting a new clutch but am loathed to pay Jabba £800 for a supplied and fitted Sachs solution.

Spotted these and was wondering if anyone has bought these for their Seat/Audi/VW....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260098281261&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:UK:1

They said they could supply in the 6 speed version for the AUQ engine....

But just wondering - as it seems it's a bargain - is it going to be a case of buy cheap, buy twice.... ?

One of the guys has one on here on a tuned 150 tdi, not sure how he is getting on, does make you wonder how they can do it so cheap.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont stick that **** in your car, judging by some of the pictures at the bottom, them makes are absolute ****. Buy a tried and tested clutch made by a hugely known worldwide manufacturer like SACHS that you know has been tried and tested, and thousands spent of R&D and not some **** that the pied piper has knocked up in his graden shed over the weekend.

I might just go and buy a standard clutch and get that fitted - it's done well so far - just very over abused lately.

i know, he has even put it on my thread

Hi mate, I only put that in there as there were a LOT of people wanting an uprated clutch which you couldn't deliver in the end. I know these people would be watching that thread, hence the post. You even clearly stated the GB wouldnt happen, so I thought I'd help the other guys out on the forum !!!

taking the piss really.

How the F*** am I taking the piss??? I posted the GB in the threads regarding clutches, hence this one. A load of people are asking about uprated clutches, and this GB would help them all ????

Plus, I was directed to the GB on Brioskoda, but the fitting was in Kent, I wasn't being a c*** in posting it, I posted it & explained that this one was nearer up North for the people who dont live in the South.
