Hard to say, both work well, 007P is a more popular choice but the DV30 is good too, however the 007P has twin seals and an alloy piston and the DV30 has one seal and a composite plastic piston that sometimes sticks from heat.

i have had 2 bailey dv30's and had probs with both of them. I now have a 007p and it is a better valve altogether.

Just round the corner.
I've got the SPLTR valve, and before Caveo starts no problems still.
My mate had the Bailey on his Gti Turbo, sounded nice, but rang like a bag of sh!te.
Neighbour's got a LCR, and has the Forge 007P.

I like to hear a bit of noise, but personal choice and all that.

out of the choice id go for the 007p.

i have gone for the APR R1 diaphram based dv. it apparently wont require servicing unlike the 007p (not that servicing the dv is a biggy). it cant stick due to heat unlike some piston styled dvs.

In agreement with Markgb

I have had the Forge 007 SPLITR and i've had no probs at all, plus it does have a nice sound and is very well made;)

I Have for a forge split r that a bought after researching on here, very well made and makes a nice enough noise, all tho its a big long for my liking, by that i mean tissssssssssshhhhhhhhhh not a crisp tisshh like some i have heard, but i think that down to the 1.8T over complicated vacum system with so many stupide systems on it.

007P and get the blue spring if your remapped. Stay clear of the Split R one. Mark my words!

Ive got the bailey dv30 and cant fault it,its covered over 20k without any problems at all, dont think there is much difference between forge or bailey, both good quality valves, forge one might be a little cheaper though.
