Have looked at the Seat site and the diesel ones are a different part number do you have one of the invoices when you brought the car stating a part number for the exhaust. Not sure what the difference on a diesel exhaust and a petrol one is. If any one else can help please leave a reply

did you have to do any mods besides the bumper, was it the standard exhaust from SEAT?

No other mods required other than the bumper and yes its just the standard exhaust from Seat, so it bolts straight on.

This is the problem: i have an exhaust that was ordered for the TFSI with a different part code to that of the one sold by Seat for the TDI FR - can any Seat techies find out if there is actually any difference between the exhausts available?

We're basing this on the info available on the Seat.co.uk site in the accessories list...

Ok, the french bloke's back box is a Supersprint, one of which will be fitted to my Cupra on thursday, the end caps are Porsche Cayenne items, but the Supersprint end caps are proper ovals, just like the Cupra's standard end cap....

Exhaust Knowledge Required!!!

Is anyone on here with the required knowledge able to answer the following question -

Can an exhaust originally supplied for a petrol TFSI be used on a diesel FR TDI? Are there going to be any problems within either the silencer or back box with the change in fume composition?

Ok, had the Supersprint fitted, replaced the resonator with a straight-thru pipe, looks and sounds sensational :D

I know someone asked me ages ago to take a close up pic of my bumper mods to fit this exhaust.... sorry for the delay

Anyway here it is :

I basically just measured the hole on the left and did a straight copy on the right !

Hope this helps !
