Am I tripping but it seems to me driver position is not centered with the steering wheel (center (cupra logo) on the steering wheel is alligned more to the left chest) and also driver is positioned slightly deviated to the left of the car (LHD car)? So I would describe like out of X axis compared to Y axis.

I find it funny and a bit hard to center my car when doing parking in reverse, if I follow my eyes orientation with surrounding (eg. by looking front end of the hood), without looking at the reverse camera, it looks like I am parked fine, but once I get out of the car, I see it is slightly deviated. So, when parking in reverse, I get aligned well by following green/red lines in reverse camera to get alligned with the curb for insance, but once I finish parking and take a look to the front, it looks car is not well alligned, but it is

Is it just me or driver seat/position is so designed that is out of "center"?

Don't you notice when both hands are on a wheel (9 and 3 clock) that it does not fit centered to your body?

I think this is nothing new in car interior design, saw once on a tv for Mercedes w204 if I remember well...anyhow it does not affects driving experience, my bigger concern is aligning the car when parking in reverse without following reverse cam.

I can say I am pretty much experienced driver, but formentor makes me look amateur

I do smoother reverse parking with my previous car (Citroen ds5).

I've noticed myself some difficulty having the car aligned too since I acquired the car a few weeks ago, I thought I was just paying too much attention to the screen or something. But this makes sense.

I find it difficult to judge where the left of the car is, and it feels so much wider than my 3 series BMW, even though it isn't. When I park against the curb, even using the dip down mirror facility, it looks very close as in inches away. When I get out to look, it is like 6 inches or so off the curb. I can't put my finger on why. I think maybe the shape of the front with the high bonnet line. The BMW bonnet dropped away quite a bit.

Simple way to find out. Bring your hands to your chest and put them palms together as if you were preying.
No move both arms towards the centre of your steering wheel and see where they meet the wheel.
I use this test on a lot of cars I test drive, it works every time.
