Hi all, I'm about to purchase a 2019 Leon 2.0tsi 190hp DSG. Am I right in saying that this DSG is the DQ381? I have really struggled to find any info online about this, some say it is some say it isn't. If it is, do these need to be serviced at 40k or 80k? The car is currently on 81k. Im led to believe that the DQ381 is the better choice box against the DQ200.

Thank you all!

I can't say better or worse but the maximum torque DQ200 can handle is 250Nm, so it wouldn't be possible to mate it to a 320Nm engine like 2.0 TSI 190hp anyway.

All 2.0 TSI had either the DQ250 (6-speed) or the DQ381 (7-speed) box. The weaker DQ200 were mounted on 1.8tsi and lower models..

Yes it would have the DQ381 - 7 speed wet clutch DSG.

Some info here:

Friend at work had this box with his 150 DSG Passat - and he had a temp sensor issue with the mechatronic unit - He would loose odd gears when it got warm. Luckily he is handy with cars and brought two new sensors to solder onto the PCB in the mechatronic unit (only one had failed but he did both while it was out) - but if this would have been a dealer they would have just replaced the whole mechatronic unit which would be very expensive.

Not saying they are unreliable - but if you do get a fault it could be costly. (thinking about it, this could apply to all modern cars  )

DSG oil is due at 80k miles but some change it at 40k.
