yea nice car mate, is that the biggest wheels you could get or didnt you fancy 18" or 19"?

They're 18".

I didn't go for 19s because with the high mileage I do - I couldn't go for a lower profile than 40%. The car needs lowering but I want to put a different front on it first.

hey DJP your 1000 post is coming

(Thanks for pointing that out, Nik!)

Well as it's my 1000th post...............

I'd just like to say how much fun I've had since I bought the car, on a whim, on Ebay.

Only because of this forum, I've found a stack of things to do to the car, and a stack more still to do.

It's transformed from the car I bought 9 months ago - and thanks to you bunch of b*st*rds,, I'm £1000s of £££££ out of pocket! :D

But it's been hugely entertaining being a part of this forum. Most members think my car is well OTT, but I've been tolerated - and I've made some good friends in the process.

Now before m0rk reduces my post count to 99, does anyone know where I can get a whooshy dump valve?

22/10/05 SCN RR day at Awesome GTI. I'd fitted an N75J valve the night before which caused the car to run in limp mode on the rollers. A real disappointment for me - but you learn.

Great to meet people and see some fantastic machinery.
A few photos of my car:

This car is gay.

What you need is a good rover......
PMSL!
Hasn't been a Rover in Dave's fleet of dodgy motors for 14 years now - it's that long since I wrote that one off! At least mine had a rear spoiler, yours hasn't. :bleh: (Actually mine didn't even have a rear end last time I saw it. )
