Probably not the remap itself will be poor and the dpf file will be rubbish aswell

Best advice is if you want your car doing properly you gotta pay for it

Go see Shark Performance, Darkside Developments, R-T3ch for it and get it done right

I need somewhere easy to get to from Glasgow! I've taken Friday off to find a place if I'm not happy with this one. I was recommended more torque for DPF deletes too, you had any experience with them?

The question is, will that file work?

Some people have been lucky and not had any problem.

But more people haven't, they have had there dashboard light up like a Christmas tree after a couple of months or so and then have to go and pay more money to get it out right. I couldn't tell u how many threads on here I have read like that. They all start with wanting the dpf, we advise them on the places to go, they don't listen and go cheap. They love the extra power that the map offers and tell everyone how chuffed they are with it. Then it all goes quiet untill 2 months later when there's another post saying there's all sorts of fault codes, light and problems with the car running.

At the end of the day It's up to you tho mate, ur decision and ur money :)

Has Anyone been too star performance in Kirkcaldy Fife? That's where i'm going to go, got good local reputation but not sure how good it actually is? The whole dpf removal costs 650 but I'm going too do the physical part myself and get them too map it. Will take pictures on how I do so and post them up after 15 posts as I have recently just joined the forum.

Ecotune are doing it for me. I took heed of your advice! Let that be known.

Won't be a cheap job though at all as I have a hole in my manifold which is spitting carbon out everywhere. Hopefully have it back this evening.

Hi I've managed to cut out the dpf out of its pipe I will post pictures of them when i'm able too. It took me about 1hour and a half but I've still to weld the plate I cut out back on, so all I need too get is it properly re-mapped so here's hoping!
