im searching for a downpipe to fit a k04-024
selfmade, or is there a shop?

think you'd be better off chopping up a leon cupraR downpipe and an ibizas and doing some fancy handy work with a mig

so u mean to modify this one?
and were can i get a blueflame downpipe?

yeah but it splits at one point, you'd only want the 90degree bend bit and have that welded onto the ibizas

can you see what i mean? its only an idea though and there are plenty of flaws,

blueflame will just follow the design of the standard downpipe, so unless there on the ball what you need would be quite a pain in the ass

you wont get many replies about selling you one, the only ones i can think of are from northern ireland i think and somewhere like greece

so a custom jobby is the only answer really

You must be able to get one from somewhere. My mate has just got an exhaust manifold and DP for his mitsi colt from israel to turbo it so someone out there must make a DP for this conversion!! I'm really interested in the conversion as well as i think it's the best for me. More power than KO3s but not as out n out as an IHI!!!

its not likely, its just not that popular because of the gains and the amount of effort required in the conversion. hence why the am04, jbs04 and atp kits were developed

Well you surely should see nearly 280 bhp?????????

remapped lcr is 265bhp so with extra mods etc you should. And a recon KO4 023 must be cheaper than the others??

maybe 270ish, but its gonna cost twice as much as getting a k03s set up for 250ish

it wouldnt be much more for ihi i suspect, and just as much work

Oh rite. All the different setups confuse me. I aint got the money atm moment. KO3s seems a hell of a lot easier!!!! but then again so does selling mine and buying the ihi one on ebay for 7500k!!!!

if i was going to go for one, which this time next year il be deciding whether to or to get an m3

id go for the atp kit i think, the garret appeals to me and the power output is well within what id want and price isnt soo bad when i look at how much iv spent already

watching the video matt put up against the remapped ibiza, it looks nuts

i brought one that some one else custom made when i was going to do this mod but i never got round to it so it's up for sale, i was told it fitted and ran fine, come with a standard cat and all lamba prope threads in,
can i just conferm that this is a ko4 the same as on a TT or leon?
