They won't fit your car! They will only fit facelift cars!
It can be done but only if you fit the facelift grill and hack reshape the wings where the indicators go.

see i knew someone would be along with a useful answer soon enough :) wasn't sure what year cey's was,was a guy on fleabay selling new ones for pre-lift cars at 30squid a pop,bargain! will see if he's still about for you..

nope,i lied they are used for the light and indicator but it aint the doubles even though advertised as gti lights :ban: back to the drawing board,hehe!

does anybody know of any clear indicators for a post facelift (99) gti? I really dont like the standard insicators but dont want to go down the morette/angel eye route!!!

The whole point is it won't work as the old indicators won't attach to the facelift headlights, which means you have to reshape the wings in order to fit the new style indicators. Your best bet is just fitting facelift bumpers and cutting the centre of the old grille out so that it looks like a facelift but with the old style headlights and indicators, if you see what i'm saying? I'm certain some bloke did it on here and the car looked pretty good!
