hi guys, i've recently fitted a door, to replace my smashed one, The door i fitted didn't have a electric mirror, Now because i messed up when i tried taking off the black panel behind the door card on the last door and smashed the window, i wasnt prepared to do that again, so i replaced the loom with my old electric window one by cutting the loom and joining them, all the wires were the same colour so i just matched them.
But now this door doesnt lock the window doesnt work also the mirror stays put!!!! Not only that but my interior lights sometime flash, and all my other windows only go down in stages ( start stop ) Heres pics and a vid of my problems. Thank you all :)

hello buddy, i feel your pain i hate bloody electrical stuff. Do you have elsawin? Looking at it all the wiring diagrams for front passenger doors seem to be the same from dec 1999 onwards. There is a different sub section for vehicles with electric rear windows too but as far as i can tell( i'm no electrical genius) the front passenger door wiring seems to be the same throughout! What you really need is someone on here who properly understands wiring and has got elsawin as well.

Ok peeps I replaced the black connecting box on the motor to my older one and all the windows worked lights were fine and locked as well, but then when a put the window back up the cable popped off the white running clip arrrrr so I stripped the door down again sorted it, the window is now back in and on the runners, I've kept the motor off atm Pics later.

Is the black box connector on the motor the Regulator?? Thanks.
