Ok, I have fitted it but not torqued anything up yet. I will sort it tomorrow.

Where did you get the torque settings DPJ?

My other question is why don't powerlfex supply a busher for the other end of the dog bone?

Thanks for the reply Dave, I've noticed you around the forum alot and got to say your an asset :)

I now use the stock settings
Mount to subframe 20NM + a further 90 degrees
Mount to transmission 40NM + a further 90 degrees

and support bolt as above. (45 NM)

Mines going on tomorrow hopefully these are not stretch bolts are they? IE i don't need new bolts?

Lee, please don't use the above.
This is what I did and stripped the thread.
There is no need to turn 90 degrees further as its in alloy and WILL rip the threads out, as I did on mine
Its a very expensive mistake

I used the setting DPJ just listed and found them to be perfect for me, i also increased my idle to 800rpm to avoid vibrations.
The compression bolt should be 12ft-lb and yes the tighter the compression bold is the more rigid the whole dog mount will be, this would suggest more vibration.

But hey, get the bushes on with the recommended torque above, run it in for about 200 miles and if you are stilll getting vibrations then reduce the torque setting by 1 or 2 ft-lb and see how you go then..

So just to clarify is 12ft-lb (16NM) for the compression/support bolt or is it

33ft-lbs (45 NM) as also mentioned on here !

Quite a difference between the 2 can we clarify which one is actually right?
