ayup lad's and the odd woman, dose mk2 ibiza suspension fit a mk3 ibiza cupra if i get new top mounts?
had a search and cant find oat with a defo answer cheers

they will fit but you need 1x plank of wood 1x washing up liquid bottle and 2x wood nails!

is it better for me to keep the fact that I have Polo (same as Mk2) coilovers fitted to my Mk3, to myself? lol

the difference is that Mk3 front suspension have wider springs. they also have a large disc which serves as the top bearing.

The polo/Mk2 fronts have a skinier spring with a small round bearing on it, much like the Leon does.

I got my hands on some polo ones which I thought would fit. I obviously ran into the spring problem, so I made them fit.

but as said, best off to get proper ones.

Note: rears fit fine. no difference there

i didnt say they wouldnt fit!!! did you use the parts i listed?

if you cut a section out of the springs then use a dollop of pva jobs a goodun!

this is alot of hasssle tho my advice is get some mk3 ones!

i wasn't as much referring to your answer. I thought you were taking the piss.

but as you said, get proper mk3 ones if you have the option ;)

yes but hooch, I bought the topmounts and bearings for the mk2, but the topmounts didn't fit the mk3?

so I'm now on mk2 coilovers with mk3 topmounts and mk2 bearings lol
