does a cold air feed make a difference?

ibiza 95.. my standard box is behind the drivers side front light next to the wing there is a tube that goes to it from the engine. i dont know what engine yours is but i highly recomend the modded box for the gti.

does that really work? cos its been the inspirationfor my own shitpipe technology, but my own tarted up version using drain pipe. havent fitted it yet... still need to find a strong way of holding it to the engine.

i see yours is a 2l... mines only the 1.4 and if i were to do what youve done it would just suck warm air in as the air box is pretty much on top of and behind the engine
