i quite liked the sound of the scorpion tho (maybe a little loud), mainly as my miltek is silent!

do you not think much of the scorpion then? if not any reason?

cheers

just in the past the ones I've looked at quality wise, and fit - haven't been ace

you're right, they're louder - great when you 1st get an exhaust, but after 30 mins on the m1 you're begging for quiet

I wouldn't say a milteck was silent though, just perhaps not so loud inside

i am swapping my exhaust(no idea what make it is) for a millteck.
no front silencer makes the car vibrate at tick over or when pulling away. motorway cruising is noisy and i am just fed up with it.great if you are in pasty mode all the time, and i can always tell when the wife comes home as the windows vibrate when the cars on the drive.
perhaps i am just getting old for the "sporty" tone

gains are minimal, unless you are going to fit a downpipe and sports cat. i doubt there's "that" much difference between the 2.

Hooch as you know ive got the 4' tuner scorpion on mine, and k03s'd it is pretty loud, on yours id say it would be a bit ott!
Shape wise i prefer the blueflame! not keen on twin pipes

depends how loud you want it, the fitment was slightly longer than oem, if i went bigger turbo id sell the blueflame d/p cat and the scorpion cat back as one and buy a blueflame cat back to mate with the new d/p, plus they both needed to be adjusted to fit and are great now but would have issues selling seperately.
Do you know if his was modded to fit the d/p or the other way around

i would have thought it would sound similar on mikes as it would yours, maybe a bit louder on yours, I like the sound of them but as i said mines only k03s

I have a ko3s with blueflame downpipe/cat and Scorpion cat back and personally dont find it that bad!
Yes on full boost you hear it whistle and pop an bag but thats what turbos do.
Cruising @ 70/80 is Fine! I can have my music low and still talk to passengers without shouting over the music or exhaust system.

It will probably be abit loud on yours because of your turbo though.
