do i have to remove battery to fit new head bulbs

today i got my philips diamond vision h7 head bulbs
and i don't know from where to start , how to remove the car battery ? there is any thread here / guide showing how to do this

i'm afraid to do any damage - (is this necessary to remove battery?)

headlights are not too bad to change if u got small hands like me or if not get the kids involved:D

no need to remove the battery,

if you remove the headlights you will need to have them realigned, (makes it possibly worth shredding your hands to save some cash)

i saw on some threads before some guys here remove the front bumper and headlights

i guess the germens never thought about replacing bulbs
how do i remove the battery
? step by step if possible

:) My independant dealer did it(without removing the battery).He had bother with it being so tight,so he went into the workshop and came back with a long screwdriver- and used that to do something.Seemed to work as the bulb was replaced in no time.
Sorry i don't know what he moved with it,i couldn't see what he was doing.:(

The offside is easy enough, the nearside however is a bit of a pain to get the metal clip back over the rear of the light.

What I ended up doing was putting a cable tie around the middle of the metal clip and doing the cable tie right up. Then you can use the tail of the cable tie to pull the clip back over the cover after its on.

spot on tip - done this with my dads Xtype Jag for the same reason.

there's a plastic support on the passenger side light that is between the main cluster and side cluster that fooked my hand to peices, had to sand the edges off that!

i manged to replace the bulbs today without removing the battery , ofcourse it costs me with 1 litter of blood on my engine bay but never mind

the plastic cover of the parking bulb and signal indecator felt into the wing
i tried to drive fast and brake but i't can seems to came out of there

there is any way to buy the triangle plastic bulb cover?

if one drop of water will touch the wires then i will be in deep s%$T
