For some reason I thought that VW 2.0 tsi engines had adopted the cylinder deactivation like the higher powered 1.4 and 1.5. having done a bit more reading on reviews I haven't seen this mentioned when previously I thought I had. I think I must have got myself confused. Lol
I know some of them (primarily the latest gen 3b ea888 190ps) have this Miller cycle thing going on which is not too dissimilar.
