Morning folks - I know there are threads about DIY replacement steering wheel covers and the common theme seems to be purchase off Ali Express.
But with current parts shortages and shipping times way longer these days - are there any UK based companies that can supply something, on a similar budget to Ali up to about £100.

I know of Royal but expensive, I've seen TCP for £50, anyone any experience of them?

TIA

I don't think Alcantara is the most practical material for a steering wheel; yes it feels good, but it gets very second-hand looking very quickly if you don't look after it. Just my opinion, YMMV .

Yes, they don’t look great.

Personally, I wouldn’t want an alcantara trimmed steering wheel cover in a car that’s used as a daily driver - IMHO a leather rimmed wheel is much more durable, practical and easy to keep clean / maintain than alcantara. Just my opinion though and we don’t all like the same things, which is a good thing.

There's a reason that Royal etc are expensive. It's an art.

Fwiw I had my E36 wheel done by Royal and they were amazing.

Agree. As with most things, you get what you pay for. Buy cheap, buy twice.
