Disable the 'convenience' remote window opening?

A few times now I've come to the car to find the windows open or partially open (can't remember if the doors were unlocked). I've heard it could be water ingress, but it could also be that I sat on the remote and opened the windows.

Is there a way to disable the remote window opening feature?

yeah, get an ELM 327 and an app called Carista. you can do alot of thigs with taht.

I hope that it is due to that remote functionality as too many VW group cars from the past suffered this very problem and it was put down to random problems which lots of people/dealers could not resolve easily - I've never had that issue on any VW group's cars - yet!

ive just ordered one seen the android app and gonna have a play on my 1.4 sport. if for nothing more i see you can reset the spanner
