well what an absolute nightmare I have had with it yesterday. So to set the atmosphere...........its 10pm and I have just spent 9hours straight doing my stupid ass maths assignment for Uni. So I thought Finally I'll have at least 2 hours of my Saturday night free so that I can finally do something with my car (replace the dipstick tube) and take it for a drive or go see my mates in the pub to chill out a bit. So I go to my garage, get some tools ready and open up the bonnet. Now the lights in my garage are really crap so I had to use my phone for some extra lighting to see the dipstick properly. It wasn't coming off for shizzle so I carefully placed the phone on that black cover below the manifold, got a set of pliers and got ready to yank that ******* dipstick off. So as I yank it the tube does nothing, but my hand clips the phone and my shiny phone falls into the engine bay and is sitting in the middle of the undertray. You can Imagine how I felt when that happened. :censored: [:@] :censored: [:@]

So I had to get the undertray off, at 10:30 at night, in my little garage with crap lights. SO I got a floodlight, my hydraulic jack and axle stands and some more tools. Now is it just me or is there nowhere to put the axle stands if you have got the plastic side sills because the jacking points are only like 8cm long, therefore impossible to fit a jack and an axle stand at the same point. And because jacking the car from 1 side isn't enough to get underneath it properly I had to got my other jack out.....which is in the spare wheel well.......underneeth my 15"sub and amp.... . Got it out, jacked the car up, removed the 20million different screws that hold the undertray in place and got my phone

Put it all back together and got back to my dipstick business. Still couldn't yank it off so #i had to chisel it off (with a screwdriver). Finally that was off and so I get the shiny new one, clip it on. It went on OK but it was as loose as (you can finish that sentence yourself ;) )

So yanked it off, stuffed some tissue inside and now its sitting nice and tight.

Now I have 9 more hours of maths to look forward to for today

Sorry for ranting on but I had to let some steam out and you lot seem to be the only ones that would understand

Mine went a little easier, the old one literally disintegrated when I touched it.

New one fitted but it is a little loose, but it looked identical to the old one that "fell off"
