Thats one of the better mods to a prefacelift bumper fella, it got me thinking, have you tried covering/painting the thin red strip just below the foglights? I think it would bring on a slightly more s4-esque appearance and break up all that red.
If I was doing that I'd get the Cupra Championship spoiler, not that 80s whale-tail job! It would be hard to do properly though, without it turning into a chav-mobile.

Another pic then...

As for fitting, this pic actually helps explain this in a way - I trimmed the centre posts down but not very evenly at first (tricky to judge) which is why it seems to bulge down on one side a bit. I've sorted it since that pic was taken so it is actually straight now! I was reluctant to cut the bumper, the splitter is only £20 so I'd rather cut that down than a £300 bumper! Its held on with some self-tapping screws from B&Q, I think four on each side. Getting it central is the hardest part, rope someone else in to help you! Also the ends will poke into your wheel arches but don't cut them until its on the car so you can get the length right.

I found it a bit difficult to evenly cut the centre posts down too. My Splitter was twisted too which didn't help.

Got there in the end and used a spacer down the centreline of the splitter to ensure the trimmed posts touch the bottom of the bumper properly..... Happy with it too, I do need to cut the encroaching ends from the arches though!

I do agree, it looks really good on a pre-faclift. I'l have a proper look at the next meet SJ. Have you sprayed and fitted the bump stips yet?

Cupraloon - it looks good mate, blends in nicely with your black lower section too. Mine took me about 45mins on my own, but used basically the same method you did.

brendy - I thought of that too, and tried taping it off to see how it looks but it doesn't quite work, the centre-most edges of the two black sections above and below don't quite line up and it looked a bit strange. Also the other end of that red strip (i.e. what you would see looking side on) is wider than it is in the middle so that bit looks weird too. I may have another go when I get some time (and a dry day...!). If you have no idea what I've just said, have a look at my sig and read it again, it might make more sense!!!

Rob - mate, I've been driving around without the strips on for so long, and still haven't managed to get them sprayed yet!! I got fed up with driving around looking like some chavvy had pinched them so put them back on again today! I'll get round to it eventually

Cheers SJ, yeah, I'm warming to the look of it, i was a bit unsure at first, but the more i look at it the more i like it, don't know how you did your in 45 mins, mine took forever, holding it up... taking it off, trimming, holding it up....

It prbably wasn't 3 hours but it felt like it....

Thank you jomo, i was i bit unsure when i first did it, but am liking it a lot more as time goes on..

The front splitter, is an original SEAT Leon Cupra R item cost £17.63 + VAT from you local SEAT dealers, part # 1ML 805 903..

Good luck fitting it, it was right pain on my own, get a mate to help, it makes things much easier :)

Haven't seen the lister front spoiler tbh, before doing this one i looked at a lot of different options, one which did catch my eye was the RGM front lower splitter, but all things considered, the cost of painting and fitting, the LCR splitter is hard to beat IMHO..
