Firstly please excuse my ignorance on this subject
Vagcom'd my car today as the engine management light had come on and got two fault codes.
One being to check the DV (which I already knew had split and a 007p is on order.
Second one was a N249 mechanical malfunction. Now the car is a 1.8T Bora running a KO3s and an N75F valve.
I swapped the N75 for an N75C that I had kicking about and this appears to have cleared the fault code.
So what is the difference between the N75 and the N249?
And anyone happen to know which version of the N75 the 1.8T 150s should run as standard?
