Diamond cut alloy protection

I’m getting my diamond cut alloys refurbed next week. I spoke to the refurber about rimblades. He absolutely hates them, and won’t touch any alloys that have them fitted. He said: “They are horrendous and corrode alloys. I void all guarantees to anyone who uses any variation of rim blades.” Best thing to do is try n be as careful as possible, and know a good alloy repairer.

I’ve got it booked in 19th Sept for repair so fingers crossed all sorted then
