diag help needed

Hi...im jay..own a 03 leon cupra (180) model. When i bought my car, the previous owner showed me a code pressed into the air con panel and information came up..fault codes..that type of thing. But iv forgoten how to do it.

Could any-one help please. I cant for the life of me remember this code.
