Dead battery

The cold took my five years old battery today.

It's not possible to read the values of the old one.

According to ETKA my battery should be a 280A (60Ah). I think that sounds a little too weak.

The car's a Leon 20VT with no ICE, but Climatronic and heated seats and mirrors. (Feel free to pun with the fact that the other ice is in fact a major factor here.)

Any thoughts?

Seems low - I'd have thought you needed something around 540A starting power/ 60Ah

After getting some real light down in the battery tray, I found the sticker from the battery. It says 460A/55Ah.

So you're right Dave, too low. I'm now opting for an Exide Powerline 640A/64Ah. Or an Exide Maxxima 900 if it'll fit. Too bad real batteries are so damn heavy.
