I have just removed the lock from the drivers door and fitted the blank disc and blanking cap and housing, and i'm very impressed with how easy it was.
Job done in under 10 mins, and well worth the time, so i have to thank Rookwise for providing me with the parts that he never got round to fitting, and of course Pabs for his very usefull and detailed Guide.
With all parts and spray job (paid a bit over the odds but wanted it in a hurry) the whole lot cost £35. :D

There seems to be some crossed wires here, so i will try and answer both questions without giving too much away.
@ December: The lock on the door is a soft spot for theives. With the locke removed there is a lot less chance of theives getting into my car. If you want more details, PM me and i will explain.
I also removed it as i don't EVER use it, and if someone else has my car and decided to unlock/lock with the key, the chances of scratching the paint are higher.
@ Big lad: I haven't relocated it yet for 2 reasons. Firstly i only just done the de-lock and the chances of the fuse blowing in the next day or so before doing it are slim.
Secondly, i haven't managed to find a guide yet, so once i do it will be done ASAP.
Cheers
Dave
