Hey folks,

I have been a member here now for over a year and not been active. I have finally decided to pull the finger out and create a build thread to share my Leon!

I have been busy with the mods since I got her back in November 2013.

Here is a list of what has already been done:

  • Lowered 50mm front and 45mm rear on Eibach Sportline Springs
  • Stage 1 Remap by ETune. Expected bhp - 210, torque - 310 ft*lbs
  • Custom Enclosed Carbon Fibre Induction Kit
  • Custom full DPF back exhaust with no silencers by C+C Exhausts
  • Audi A4 DTM alloy wheels (manufactured by Ronal) refurbeshed in shadow chrome
  • Honeycomb front grill with black surround
  • Heko Wind Deflectors

To do:
  • DPF delete
  • Bigger intercooler
  • Stage 2 remap
  • Porsche Big Brake Upgrade

she has been sitting like this for the past few months now.

Let me know what you guys think.

Here are some pictures of her after I gave her a needed wash today:

Looks good bud. Always been a fan of anthracite/black wheels on a white car.

How do you find the ecotune stage 1 map? Considering it when my warranty runs out.

Cheers mate!

The map is brilliant! Totally changed the car. It's pulls much more throughout the entire Rev range. You will feel the difference the most in 3rd gear. I would advise getting remap supporting mods i.e. Exhaust, intake before the map.

It's also more economical, I can easily get 65 mpg on the motorway now!

Nice looking motor!
I have a speed blue Supercopa with stage 1 from ecotune, massive tranformation. Although I have no other mods, it's currently running 223bhp 345ftlb. I would have thought you would have higher results with an exhaust and intake, maybe it has better progression throughout the revs. Are the additional mods worth it? thinking about doing dpf delete.

Looks very nice mate. You wont see much of a gain with an intake on a diesel as the standard airbox is more than sufficient.

How much was the intake by the way and does it sound any better with it? That would be the only reason I'd get one for the sound.

Cheers mate, that's running a high amount of bhp! Is it quite a smokey map?

DPF delete will see you an extra 5-10 bhp and I would be suprised if an induction kit gave you anything as the standard airbox is adequate. I just put one on for the noise - makes a lovely choo choo noise. Removing the rear box should see you a few extra bhp too.

If you are looking at going at stage 2 I would look at getting an s3 intercooler to go along with the dpf/backbox removal for more bhp and torque's.

Thanky you! The intake was about £45 all in from ebay. It's a universal one that I modified to fit myself. I only got it for the sound. I did purchase a full open neuspeed induction kit but it was stupidly loud and the ecu didn't like it so I returned it.
