dayco belt

hi guys just about to do the cambelt i have got a cambelt kit from a motorfactor and its a dayco belt kit is this anygood cost £130
also what is the cambelt time change is it 60k or 5years
it was last done in 06 at 82k it has 124k so thinking it neededs doin

Only answer I can give is that Dayco belts, which I think might be made in France (and maybe other places), are used or at least supplied by VAG as replacements for the auxiliary belt - I've no idea if they are OEM suppliers of cambelts and cambelt kits.

get i touch with dave at sere motors just done cambelt and service there is what he charges:-

waterpump £33
cambelt kit £83
oil filter £5.50
fuel filter £8.63
pollen filter £8.74

plus geniune parts and you get a 2 year warranty, so when you compare the motorfactors price to this you know it makes sence
