Love your HID kit there, shame you have to drill the light etc as i'd have that kit tomorrow!

I find them useful as i park next to a kerb all the time.

Haven't got a clue what they look like from outside the car mind you!

Just looks like your driving with one blown fog lamp

In my Opinion it looks silly

I play with VAGCOM all the time so i'll probably get bored and disable it soon!

(Was gonna ask about your car but i'll post in your thread ;))

You got a Can-Bus version of Vagcom then?

Ive only got the old KKL Vag Com so it wont work with leon

Danny's FR550 - Cupra Gone, FL Leon FR

Well guys,

The Leon has gone...part exchanged it for a '10' plate Candy White Ibiza Cupra, Panoramic sunroof, Bi-Xenons, Convenience pack, Combined USB port with Bluetooth and with 8,000 miles.
1.4TSI with the 7 Speed DSG and I love it!!

It puts me back in my seat how I expected. Couldn't get on with the FR CR TDI or the 150bhp FR 1.4TSI, so settled with the Cupra.
Travelled 2 hours to Stockport for it, customer service from that garage was god awful but I'm not letting it blunt the excitement of the car :)
A few planned mods, private plate with pressed plates, gloss black wheels again, yellow brake callipers, going to try the LCR front splitter but I don't know how it will looks and then a remap I think :) oh and some lowering springs to give it a better stance. Cosmetic things should be done throughout this year so I'll keep you guys updated.
Here's some photos for ya :)

Danny.

Your old Leon looked nice, not to over the top.

I'm interested in fitting a splitter like yours.

How did you fit it?

There are two lugs you need to cut or file down in the middle of the splitter, then pop 2 screws through those and align the rest to the bumper, it fits relatively well but may need pulling out abit at the ends :) not too hard job, used about 8 self tappers altogether.

Well,

The Cupra has now gone to it's new owner (my mum) and I had her white Audi A3 Black Ed for a while, I then chopped that in for a Facelift Leon, travelled half the country to pick her up.
Media system fitted, and in Speed Blue! Needed another colour other then black or white!
So a few weeks later after collecting the car, I noticed one of the wheels had a flat spot on it, so I took it to a tyre company who came back to me and said, all four wheels are like! So after nearly having a legal battle with them, they fessed up and agreed to pay for new wheels.
This is the only picture I have of my car from the dealership, now the photo shows the car with the 17" wheels on, after a few phone calls, they were badly kerbed so they arranged to swap them with the 18" Iberas, so maybe they knew about the problem?

Anyway, mods so far.

- Cupra Grill
- Cupra Mirror Caps
- 6000k H7R HIDS
- 18" Black Pavnois (Cupra) Wheels

And I've only had the car 4 weeks haha, I have a few things planned soon,

- MK1 Cupra splitter
- Lowering Springs
- LED Sidelights
- LED Foglights
- Seat Sideskirts
- Seat Boot Spoiler
- Black Vinyl Roof
- Exhaust System

Now I want to get the car looking the way I want before engine mods etc, but I would be interested in the Cupra R backbox and diffuser at somepoint and a remap :)
I will try and get some new, clean pictures of how she looks at the minute :)
And a picture of the Audi before she went.

I'd like to firstly apologise for the lack of posting on my behalf of this thread!
Totally forgot about it :(

After messing around trying to find my perfect car after I parted with my dearly beloved 550, I'd been with Audi, VW and a few Seat's. Ibiza Cupra, Leon FR etc but now I've found the one :)

First off, it's a 2008 Leon Cupra in Silver. She had done just over 40k miles when I bought her from a VW dealership in Northampton where I traded my 110bhp Golf SE in.

Car has quite a few factory fitted options, bluetooth, iPod dock, rain sensor etc so really pleased.
It wasn't long til the modding bug began :)

this was her standard;

Then came the LCR splitter;

IMAG0187.jpg

Then I also ordered some Seat Sport number plate surrounds, I haven't got a picture yet but do set the front end off quite well :)

So after a long time cleaning, polishing etc I decided to start under the bonnet.

First;

IMAG0196.jpg

New and old diverter valves.

Then;

IMAG0197.jpg

New and old panel filters. It was clear it had never been changed and boy did it make a difference :)
Then the car was used to move house, quite handy really :)

IMAG0185.jpg

Still on the to do list;

Clean front and rear callipers and paint with a new, glossier red.
Gloss black wheels,
Gloss black roof,
Gloss black spoiler,
Sideskirts,
Cold air intake,
Forge spacer,
New spark plugs,
Lowered with spacers, 10mm front and 15mm rear,
Stubby aerial,
REVO remap,
Milltek exhaust. Now I actually wish I'd kept the Milltek off my 550 instead of leaving it on the car!
Then tinker with the interior electrics starting with ICE including RNS510.

I don't know what order these will get done in, probably cosmetic first as I'm happy with the 240 ponies at the minute :)

Thanks for looking!

Well, a wee update :)

Got my C2 aerial, I now realise why it took me so long to buy one..... the reception is crap!

IMAG0198.jpg

Also got my plate surrounds, but haven't got a picture of those yet :)

And also my main favourite.

IMAG0199.jpg

It cost me £13 from ebay :) well chuffed with that!

IMAG0200.jpg

It's a Cobra Sport custome made one, had been used on a PD170 but is much more purposeful on my car ;)

IMAG0203.jpg

So with that, me and a few mates set about fitting it.
Now it's 2 inch pipe diameter, the cupra is 2.5 or 2.75 can't remember so had to get a few bits from a local shop.
First attempt didn't go too well as it was blowing a lot, after fine tuning it, this is the end result. I'm still in two minds whether to get the centre silencer out to make it louder :)

Let me know what you think :)

Thanks gents :)
Just waiting to get paid and hopefully will be ordering the rear spoiler and lowering springs. Probably Sport lines for a guess :)
Really pleased with the exhaust, nice subtle note but I probably will get the centre silencer cut out, I'll see how money is after I've been paid :)
Really want to get the roof done black vinyl aswell :(

Stew, I like to be honest and say I wish I'd kept that Milltek exhaust for my current Cupra, as it made no difference what so ever on the FR550, it was also non-resonated so would have sounded the nuts!
But yes, I got a good price, sub £200 I believe and would recommend one for petrols. For diesels, may aswell just have a custom straight through pipe :)
Wheels were powder coated by a company in Exeter, Devon :) Spot on job for around £250 including wheel balancing and centre caps :)

Well guys,

I bought a 2.0TDI Audi A3 S-Line as I thought I'd be travelling a lot more with a new job but it turns out I've stayed in my current job so work is only about 6 miles for me.
I played about with the A3 for a bit, had a remap and spacers etc but there was nothing else I fancied doing it. It wasn't sporty enough for me to be honest and the only other mod I wanted to do was the LED Bi-Xenons, but at nearly £1k just for the parts and new MOT laws, I didn't bother. I had a bit of finance on the Audi and wanted to pay it off so I went on the search for a new car. Test drove BMWs, Minis etc and decided that no matter what life will bring, I'll always have a Seat.
I test drove an Ibiza Cupra but couldn't get on with it so went back to the Leon. I originally looked at the PD170 like I had before (miss my black 550 far too much) and with it only being a short distance to work, I'd have DPF troubles before long. So I settled on another Cupra thus paying off the majority of my finance and leaving me free to do as I please.

So without further ado, here she is. Possibly the most specced out Leon I've had to date!

The car's on a 07 plate with only 35k on the clock, full Seat service history and better still from my local garage. Standard items include;

Rainsensor,
Auto lights,
Sunroof,
Parking sensors,
Bluetooth,
Auto Dim interior mirror,

And all the standard Leon goodies like powerfold mirrors, Bi-Xenons etc.
I'm very pleased with the car, dealer offered a full tank of fuel and the gloss black grill and the deal was done.....the next day I was ordering parts haha.
